“ My first visit and quite impressed with the cleaness. Plenty of seating and looks like they have one of those doors that open up for patio dining. At the time of visit, sushi is made to order by requesting the order sheet. There are some other items at the sushi bar. Overall, quality seems to be better than the other asian buffet, different menu options like dimsum and chocolate fountain and also higher quality sushi. Very nice bar with lots of varieties of adult beverages. Of course, prices reflects this. ”
“ The service was outstanding for starters. They give you a mask if you don't have one and request you use sanitizer before touching the plates. They have lots of choices if you like seafood, not so many of you don't. It was very clean and they have a good dessert selection. I did not get any of the cakes because my younger one wanted to use the chocolate fountain. Pros: decent selection and amazing service. I don't eat sushi but my husband said it was really good. The prime rib was fortunately on the rare side. Cons: crab legs were overcooked and rubbery. The tempura was on the oily side. Not a lot if you don't eat seafood. The walnut shrimp was shrimp covered in mayonnaise. We would go back on a different night to try the stuffed lobster ”
“ A pretty good buffet and deserves 4 out of 5 stars! It has good quality seafood, especially the sashimi and oysters (my personal favorite there). I was impressed by the variety of sushi since there were many rolls and nigiri to choose from. The salmon sashimi lived up to my expectations for being buttery, tender, and high quality. In addition, the meat selection was pretty standard with your choice of prime rib steak, pork chop, and lobster (one per person) among others. Another thing that was pretty standard was the salad bar in the middle. And despite it being a Japanese buffet, there was a section for Chinese dishes too, such as lo mein and sweet and sour chicken wings. I took a star off because of the pricing for dinner (also I believe they are changing lunch prices after April, or so it says on their check in tablet at the front) and the lack of selection for dessert. Though the cakes were delicious and the chocolate fountain looks grand, there wasn't as many options as I thought there would be. But it was an overall enjoyable experience, especially being there with friends and/or family! ”
“ I'm going back! I had a little turmoil about reading some reviews but I decided to give it a fair chance and make an opinion myself, as I always try to do. I found this place incredible. The food was great and it was fresh, lots of choices, from sushi, salad, pizza, egg rolls, chicken, desserts, ice cream and cheesecakes. The place was immaculate, it was so clean and the service was great. Almost all the people that I ran to that work there were super friendly. When I'm really hungry again, I would go back. I cannot wait to take my family. ”
“ My life as a sushi snob was not complete before the day I experienced Ichiban Japanese Bistro. Walking in, the top questions on my mind were #1 Is this for real and #2 how fresh is it. They actually did manage to supply an all-you-can-eat sushi experience with a practical balance between convenience and quality. The made to order tamago was sweet and warm and it practically melted in my mouth. I strongly recommend the half lobster and freshly cooked oyster (1 per visit). I can't say that this was the freshest sushi I've had, but as I walked away the only concern I had for my belly was having overeaten. There's much to choose from and I'll have to come back here at least a dozen times before I've satisfied all my gastronomic curiosities. ”
“ A friend told me about this place since it's just recently opened up. Decided to give it a try and we liked almost everything . It's $35 per person but you get grilled lobster, crab legs and very fresh sashimi, nigiri and rolls plus other cooked food. Their green tea cakes and mango mousse were also delicious. Overall , the quality of food of this place is 8/10 and I think it's fairly good for a buffet - Service was also excellent. They came around and checked on us very often and cleaned up our dirty plates as soon as we are done. We'll definitely come back . ”
“ My husband and I decided to splurge tonight as we were celebrating a new job! Yay! We were there during their soft opening, and will be back when they officially open. First off, yes, it's not cheap. I for one am actually thankful for that... who would want to eat unlimited "cheap" seafood, sushi, and fish? Cheap raw fish?! No thanks! I am absolutely willing to pay for quality. The sushi alone would cost close to $35 a person for all-you-can-eat at other places. Add lobster tail, crab legs, and hot entrees, and $35 isn't bad at all! The restaurant is beautiful, and I hope that it's stays that way when they officially open. The buffet was incredibly clean and well stocked with plates. The staff seemed to clean up spills and wayward food quickly. There were 20 ish rolls of sushi and 8 or so selections of sashimi. There's a large salad bar with various green salad options along with toppings, as well as crab salad, seaweed salad, a few other salads, and fruit. Everything there was incredibly fresh. There were 25+ beers/ciders on tap and our server said there would be many more when they're officially open. Sign me up! The desserts were awesome! I think it's probably good that it's a little pricey because I would be tempted to just go and have dessert! They have a crazy large selection of cakes, a cream cheese pudding, and the most delicious passion fruit cats ever (no really, they look like cats!). Again, they were all super fresh and tasty. They do have a selection of ice creams and a chocolate fountain but we were too full to try with of them. So, all in all, it was great! ”
